Accommodation in the Heart of Hari Hari

Holiday Accommodation Hari Hari West Coast New Zealand

A WARM WEST COAST WELCOME

Formerly known as the 'Alpine Country Motel', Glenalmond Historic Homestead & Alpine Country Stay is a charming property drenched in history. Set upon 12 acres of lush grounds, edible gardens, and a collection of some of Hari Hari's original buildings dating back to the early 1900s, each unit has its own story and has been freshly renovated to present modern comfort with a touch of West Coast luxe, all while preserving the original character and historic nostalgia. Expansive conservation land & podocarp rain forest towers up the back of the property and surrounds the diverse range of short-term holiday accommodation options split neatly across four generous terraces, elevated above sprawling valley farmland, perfectly positioned to catch a famous West Coast sunset.

Owners, Murray and Di settled in the homestead and continue to pour love & passion into Glenalmond. They are dedicated to providing a premium accommodation experience in the heart of Hari Hari in South Westland, NZ.

The business was recently rebranded to encapsulate the incredible history that runs deep in the property. The three-bedroom homestead (pictured here) was one of the first buildings erected in the village by Scott Robertson in 1902 who called it Glenalmond.
